Seminar Speakers

Since 2009, the GSA members nominate, select and host a speaker during the Spring Department of Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology Seminar Series.  The GSA selects leaders in plant pathology or crop physiology to visit for 2 days so we can learn more about their professional and research experiences.  Our guest speakers include:  Drs. Duroy Navarre, Joyce Loper, Brett Tyler, Krishna Subbarao, Brian Staskawicz, Glen Hartman, Jan Leach, Xinnian Dong and Niklaus Grünwald.   In addition to the graduate student invited guests, we have lunch with other guests to our departmental seminars to ask for career and research advise.
